Satin silky straight hair

Firstly can I just say how excited U was when the postman delivered my first brown box with the bee sellotape.I opened the box & noticed how neatly the straighteners were presented. The only downside to my review would be that the instruction leaflet was too big & hard to follow this would be perhaps suited to a booklet.i do have in my possession a pair of GHD's however, as these straighteners have many other qualities ie:- cool tips, various settings to suit all hair types and protects coloured hair, obviously making me prefer this product.I would recommend this product to anyone!!johnm9026's wife! satin hair 7 color straighners

I tried the satin hair 7 color straightners they were fab in my hair my hair is very long and quite thick. they heat up very fast and were very easy to use they have a nice long wire so great if you not got a mirror near your plug sockets. They were light and very simple to use they is a light on them that flashes red until they get to the optimum temperature then they flash green to let you know they are ready if you keep them plugged in the light stays on until they have cooled down enough to put away which is great. The only down side to them is there seemed to be a hissing noise that comes off them which got a bit annoying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Braun straighteners

On the whole these are a great easy to use tool for fab hair. It heats quickly with traffic light system lights for warming, nearly ready then use and has very easy to use buttons even I could manage! Haven't used long enough to see if my colour lasts longer but with the heat being changed for the thickness of your hair I would assume it will. The only down part I found is very big for shorter hair which if they had a small option I would definitely purchase. All round 4/5 scored for the Braun satin hair colour 7 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Smooth Operator

I was really impressed with the Brain Satin 7. It glides over hair so smoothly, I always thought my current Straightener was smooth but now I feel every catch of hair with it.Not only is the Braun smooth through the hair it leaves a smooth finish and very straight hair. I also tried a few curls to see how it did and the curls were beautiful. The controls are easy to use, I have fairly thick hair so picked the second mark in the thick hair section, and it was perfect setting. I have a few stubborn fly aways, so I tried the boost button on those and it seemed to help straighten and flatten them. The only strange thing about this straightener is the Ionic jet things, they make a hissing noise which takes a little bit to get used to, I don't know if they make any difference or not either.Overall I would recommend the Braun Satin 7 as the results I got were really good. Satin hair straighteners

I was really looking forward to trying these as I colour my hair often and do notice it fades quicker the more I style it.When they arrived I thought they looked great, instructions were easy to read and set out well, the cord was long enough to reach behind the dressing table and they were quite light weight which is always good for people with weak wrists. They heated up really quickly too.The first time I used them, I didn't like them. I did the 3cm piece of hair as advised and put the setting to thick hair as mine is quite thick and whispy, it just couldn't smooth it out as it should have. I tried it on the other settings to see if that would help but it didn't. I was sat for nearly 2 hours trying to straighten my hair then still had to go over it with my own ones to get the smooth finish that I needed. It helped a little to make the hair piece a cm thick but still couldn't tame my hair as it should have. I couldn't recommend these for thick whispy hair types. I did try them on my daughter who has thin smooth hair naturally and they did enhance the appearance of hers so think these are definitely more for thinner hair types. I let my sister and mum both try these and they both agree with what I think. My sister has thinner hair and she really liked them and has said she would buy some knowing how well they styled her hair. My mum world not buy them as her hair is thick like mine although she did say they were better on her short hair than on my long hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Satin Hair 7 Colour Saver Straighteners- brilliant on my straight(ish) hair

I was really excited to receive the email informing me that I was going to be sent the Satin Hair 7 Colour Saver Straighteners to use and review. They soon arrived and I couldn't wait for Saturday to try them out. With my hair washed and blown as usual it was now time to try them out. I have always thought of my hair as straight (as a poker in fact) but I was soon to find out that with a little help my hair could be really straight and also shiny. I plugged them in and was pleasantly surprised at how long the cable was and at how fast they got to the desired temperature. I used the lowest setting first as I have fine hair and they definitely glided over my hair and left it feeling soft and looking shiny too. Next I used the normal setting and the boost button and finally got rid of my one-sided frizz :) The real test will be in a few days time when I go on holiday, as when I have washed and blown my hair reasonably straight with some volume by the time I arrive where I'm going it's usually gone frizzy (at the one side) and really lank with the heat. I am really hoping that these straighteners will finally sort this out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Good value for money

I have used another brand of hair straightner for many years and was excited to try this and see how it compared. I was pleasantly surprised the packaging was good quality and the straightners are extremely stylish to look at.I had washed and dried my hair like usual and switched them on. It instantly gave me the option to identify my hair type, for which I chose thick. As they heat up I was a little shocked that you could hear an electrical sound, like a low pitch buzz, this is something I have not experienced with straightner before and was certainly one of the negatives as continued the entire time they were switch on.Whilst using the straightners I found they glided effortlessly though the hair with no pulling or snagging as I have had previously with straightners. The heat setting was good for large amounts of hair and you didn’t really have to take super small sections. I did however struggle a little closer to the roots. The straightners were very good when I used them to curl my hair, extremely smooth and very fast. The heat set the curl well and my hair did not feel scorched or really dry like it would have with my usual hair tools. The straightners stayed cool to touch on the outside and when put on a flat surface the design made it so none of the plates came in contact with the counter top meaning no need for a heat mat. I also found they cooled down much quicker than my usual ones which is a big plus point. In all I think the price point for these is set fairly and I would recommend them.
